In 2019, the UK MoD recognised the potential of Military Robotic and Autonomous Systems (RAS) with a multimillion-pound Transformation Fund to fast-track military robotic projects onto the battlefield. This heavy investment into RAS capabilities is one of the key Army development priorities for the UK MoD, with the continued integration of these systems into regular Army units.
SMi Group proudly presents the 4th Annual Military Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Conference, returning in April 2021 as a fully interactive virtual meeting.
The conference will revolve around the British Army’s five RAS priorities of situational awareness, lethality, manoeuvrability, survivability and sustainability, as well as cover other main themes such as counter-IED, deep learning, AI, international cooperation, and communication systems.
