Event Details

From the strategic level down to the tactical, efficient, and clear communications are key to operational success. The fast pace of modern warfare requires agile, highly adaptable forces capable of rapid movement whilst maintaining a consistent communication and situational awareness capability. Interoperability is also becoming increasingly important to ensure seamless command and control within a multinational coalition, especially given the rising operational tempo across Europe.

Moving to London for the first time, the 15th Annual Mobile Deployable Communications Conference will have a renewed focus on the UK MoD’s strategic communications programme and the UK’s tactical communications industry.

As the only international conference which focuses on deployable CIS, Mobile Deployable Communications 2022 will bring together programme managers, key decision-makers, industry experts and thought leaders from Europe and beyond to explore the latest developments in communications technology.

Key highlights:

  • Hear updates and guidance from worldwide CIS program managers and communications experts, including the British Army, US Army, Norwegian Army, Netherlands MoD, the Royal Marines, and more
  • Learn about future requirements for equipment and procurement processes, such as the Tactical Edge Networking project and the ESSOR Programme
  • Discuss new topics such as battlefield 5G, spectrum management, and cognitive load.
  • Meet and network with senior military leaders and industry during dedicated networking sessions across two-days
  • Discover the latest communication technology to optimise battlefield C2 in our dedicated exhibition space

The programme will cover: SatCom on the move, software defined radios, ground terminals and network-enabled capabilities, standardising C4ISR networks, building tactical CIS networks and maximising data telemetry resiliency, operational feedback, research and development, and much more.
